A survey by the Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) corrugated sector, discovered that corrugate packaging is rated most highly by packaging professionals. Out of 100 companies surveyed, 83% believed corrugated RRP helps promote products and brands instore, and that corrugated packaging helps boost the appearance and performance of branded products.
The UK food and beverage manufacturing reports in a news release that corrugated ready for retail is increasingly necessary for the UK food and beverage industry. RRP corrugate is considered an eco-friendly type of packaging and is helpful in meeting government-mandated environmental regulations. The CPI believes corrugated cardboard is a “complete solution for transit and point of sale packaging, making it the ideal and most sustainable material for fulfilling logistics expectations.”
“The corrugate packaging industry was said to have the best packaging recycling record in the UK, of which more than 80% is recycled.”
The word is getting out internationally too that corrugate cardboard has tremendous advantages over other types of packaging materials. This year, the demand for corrugate is expected to be near $41 billion in the US.
